'Guilt-free' food. A phrase that I think can be triggering for so many people, implying that you should feel guilty for eating certain things.
I definitely used to feel that way, especially so about all fats, sugar and carbs. But now I think very differently and just see food as what it is - food.
If you tell me that a product or recipe is guilt-free such as a low calorie snack or dessert, I often have to fight my head a little to stop it from focusing on the numbers, on the way I look, on the *huge* difference that one dessert will make to my weight (not).
I really believe that we should stop labeling foods as 'guilt-free'. It doesn't exist in my mind and I don't think you should ever feel guilty for eating! Listen to your body and give it what it needs, whether that's a green smoothie or a whole pack of bourbon creams. And I can say from experience that both of those options are very satisfying and tasty, and neither of them should make you feel guilty!
Food is food and you are a fucking goddess.
