Two-Ingredient Vegan Caramel
Just like the title, today’s blog post will be super short and simple. If you love caramel and you love tahini too, this one’s for you.
2 tbsp smooth tahini
3 tbsp maple syrup (plus more until you reach the desired consistency)
So as you I’m sure you can guess, the method is as simple as the ingredients. You just mix them together.
If the mixture seems to become more stiff or thick as you add the maple syrup then don’t worry - this is normal and just means that you need to add more maple syrup. If you want to stop adding maple syrup but want the caramel to be thinner still, add some water but only a small amount at a time.
Pour it over whatever you love with caramel and enjoy! Ice cream, banana bread, banana toasts as pictured, chocolate pudding… the choices are endless.
