Banana, Hemp & Pumpkin Seed Oatmeal

Although August has only just ended, I can feel the weather changing already. Autumn, you're my favourite! And how could I not begin September with a warm bowl of oats?

I love experimenting with oatmeal flavour combinations and textures, and this is hands down one of my most loved (and most eaten).

Ingredients

75g oats

300ml plant milk

1/2 banana, mashed

1/2 banana, sliced

1 tbsp peanut butter (I use Meridian's)

2 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp hemp seeds (I use KoRo's)

 

Method

1. Mix together the oats, milk and mashed banana and cook in the microwaves for 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, cook the mixture in a small saucepan on a low heat until thickened to your desired consistency.

2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl if necessary and top with the remaining ingredients.

3. Let it cool for a minute or two, and enjoy!
